Meet the Founder
Lou Falvo, CIMA®, CDFA®
I’m the founder of Cross Roads and a financial professional with more than 30 years of experience in wealth management and divorce financial planning. As a CIMA® and CDFA® professional, I focus on delivering personalized, practical advice to help you navigate life’s most complex financial transitions with clarity and confidence.
“My role is to help clients see the big picture, understand their options, and make confident decisions, whether they’re growing their portfolio or navigating a divorce.”
I earned my B.S. in Finance with a concentration in Economics from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I’m a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), a designation issued by the Investments and Wealth Institute in coordination with the Wharton Executive Education Program. The CIMA® certification is known as one of the most rigorous global programs for financial advisors, portfolio consultants, and wealth managers, with a strong emphasis on blending theory with real-world application.
After working at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, I decided to become an Independent Financial Advisor and launched Cross Roads Investment Management in 2014.
Alongside my wealth management practice, I’m also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and founder of Cross Roads Divorce Advisors, where I help individuals navigate the complex financial aspects of divorce with clarity and confidence.
Over the years, I’ve been invited to speak on topics related to financial and divorce planning by organizations such as the Fairport Rotary, Fairport-Perinton Chamber of Commerce, Collaborative Law Association of the Rochester Area, and the Employee Assistance Professionals Association.
I now live in Mount Pleasant, SC with my wife, Jen, and our twin boys, Louis and Landon.
